【Abstract】 Cooperate principle is an important aspect of pragmatic study.Based on Grice’s theory of cooperative principle,the paper reveals how the violation of some maxisms of cooperative principle leads to conversational implicatures and English humor through the pragmatic analysis of English conversation.The purpose is to help English learners strengthen their pragmatic awareness,correctly understand and use English humor in speech communication so as to improve their English communicative competence.更多还原
